Victor Anastacio
Victor Anastacio is a music educator and classical guitarist with extensive training in classical guitar, music theory, harmony, and improvisation. He studied at the Conservatório Dramático e Musical Dr. Carlos de Campos de Tatuà in Brazil and has performed extensively as a soloist and ensemble musician, including as a member of the Camerata de Violões do Conservatório de TatuÃ. He has continued teaching, performing since moving to Canada. His approach combines strong technical foundations with creativity, repertoire, and a deeper understanding of music. Victor is excited to help you discover and grow your passion for music!

Naoko Sakata
Naoko Sakata completed her Master’s in Music Performance at McGill University and her Bachelor’s of Music at the Conservatoire de musique de Québec. She is currently completing her doctoral studies on optimal performance and music performance anxiety at the University of Ottawa. Naoko has performed extensively as both a soloist, such as with the Violons du Roy Chamber Orchestra, and as a chamber musician. Her passions are classical and pop music, and she can be found listening to anything from Bach to Disney classics. Naoko is excited to support you in your musical journey!

Mateus Gomes
Mateus Gomes is a double bassist and music educator from Brazil, now based in Ottawa. He studied double bass at the São Paulo Municipal Music School and has extensive orchestral experience. He has performed with several orchestras in Brazil and Canada and has participated in festivals and masterclasses with renowned double bassists such as Miloslav Gajdoš and Cristian Braica. With over 20 years of experience teaching young musicians, he currently teaches double bass at OrKidstra in Ottawa. Mateus is passionate about helping students develop their musical skills and confidence, and is excited to share his experience and love of the double bass with the next generation of musicians!
